I started my teaching career in the field of special education in the fall of 1997 in Salt Lake City.

I moved to Colorado in 1998 and taught in a bilingual setting (K-5th grade) in St. Vrain Valley Schools until May 2007.

I worked in Hamblen County Schools from 2007-2008 as a Spanish teacher (grades 10-12).

I have taught ESL and Spanish at Jefferson County Schools since the fall of 2008.


I was born in Colombia, S.A.

After I graduated from high school, I moved to the United States to learn English and to pursue a college degree.

I have 3 endorsements: English as a second language (ESL), Severe needs for the hearing impared, and Spanish
