A great big THANK YOU to the New Market Elementary School students and parents who donated items to help the wildfire victims in Sevier County. The items were delivered to the Sevier County Rescue Squad building late Friday afternoon and were received by volunteers with grateful hearts. Mrs. Stacy's first grade class paused long enough today to show off the many bags of books, children's games, underwear, socks, sippey cups, baby bottles, coloring books and crayons that were collected. Our faculty & staff generously donated many Food City gift cards. When Mrs. Forgety took them into the office, she was greeted by one of our NMES parents managing the well-organized donation center. Thank you, NMES parents and students, for helping support this worthy cause!
